Training to become a DGNB Consultant

Yesterday, the training for the DGNB Consultant started. Together with the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB), the CBI organised this training for the centre’s member companies.

The training started with a two-day course on all DGNB system modules. We are pleased to welcome the two DGNB auditors here. Yesterday’s course content introduced the topic of sustainable planning, construction and operation and conveyed the logic and structure of the DGNB system as well as those criteria for neighbourhoods that are highly relevant to building design. In the course content today, the criteria for buildings are taught and their application is illustrated with examples.

Following this two-day on-site training in Aachen, the participants will take a practical module in August and the subsequent examination to become a DGNB consultant in September.
