3. February 2022
Yesterday, two consortium meetings were on the agenda for the CBI team. Managing Director Dr.-Ing. Carl Richter welcomed the members of the consortia in two very successful online meetings.
We started with the kick-off meeting of our new project “Clinker-reduced binders”. Together with our consortium partners Filigran, Nesseler and Solidian, we started our new project with the aim of reducing the proportion of clinker in cement. The project is scientifically accompanied by the Institute of Structural Concrete at RWTH Aachen University (IBAC).
Initially, research and analyses on the various types of binders are on the agenda. We are already looking forward to the joint work and the subsequent results within the next few months!

Following this meeting, we seamlessly moved on to our consortium project “Detection of microplastic elements of road markings”. Here, there was a very constructive exchange within the consortium with Dow, Röhm and Swarco with the scientific institutes ISAC (Institute of Highway Engineering of RWTH Aachen University) and ISA (Institute of Environmental Engineering at RWTH Aachen University).
Here, too, we are already excited about the further development of the project!
We thank all consortium partners for the successful day.
