Successful consortium meeting

Yesterday, the CBI invited the participating member companies to another consortium meeting in the field of prefabricated buildings. At this meeting, the new findings and the future direction of the two pioneering projects “Standardisation Prefabricated Buildings” and “Conduction large-scale fire tests of prefabricated buildings under ETK conditions to profe room closure” were presented and discussed together.

The digital meeting brought together a large number of experts and partners. The consortium consisting of the members ALHO, CMS, Kleusberg, Algeco, Bolle, ELA Container, KB Container, Moravia, ProContain, SÄBU, Zeppelin Rental, AMTRA, BFT, Cadolto and Christmann + Pfeifer was invited. Representatives from the Institute of Steel Construction at RWTH Aachen University also took part.

The exchange was intensive and constructive, with the presentation of the test results of the large-scale fire tests carried out so far as well as the further planning of the outstanding tests being discussed. The focus was also on the revision of the draft guidelines and the further procedure up to publication.

The CBI would like to thank all participants for their valuable contributions and dedicated collaboration. Together, we will continue to drive innovation and safety in prefabricated building construction and look forward to the next steps in these important projects.
