Project meeting Functional composite construction: Polyurethane asphalt on continuously reinforced concrete pavement as a functional composite construction method

Last week, the PU-Asphalt and DBBD consortium met for a digital exchange. We are pleased that the consortium partners BASF, Eurovia, Hochtief and Swarco were presend. From the scientific side, we were pleased to welcome ISAC GmbH, the Institute for Highway Engineering of RWTH Aachen University (ISAC), the Institute of Structural Concrete of RWTH Aachen University (IMB) and the Institute of Sustainability in Civil Engineering of RWTH Aachen University (INaB).

The focus of this meeting was on the life cycle assessment of PU asphalt and the potentials of fibre concrete.

We are already very excited to see how the project will develop! The consortium will meet again at our members’ meeting on 16 and 17 May 2022.
