Online workshop on modular bridge construction

On 12.05.2021, an online workshop on modular bridge construction was held for all interested members in the CBI. Representatives of the companies Echterhoff, Eiffage Infra-Bau, HOCHTIEF, Eiffage SEH and WIEGEL took part.

After a short welcome and introduction, the current status of the consortium project on modular bridge construction was presented and the feedback from the BMVI was presented. Based on this, the CBI developed different solution variants, each of which was discussed.

With the knowledge gained, the acceptance of modular bridge construction systems is to be further increased in a joint project. It is planned to move towards standardisation.

The CBI is looking forward to further cooperation and thanks all members and the participating institutes for their participation and the successful outcome of the online workshop!
