The modularesBauen2022 congress fair started yesterday in Aachen. A large number of visitors were already present on the first day at the Technology Centre Aachen. We are already very excited to see who we will be welcoming today.

After the welcoming speeches by Mayor Norbert Plum and Prof. Markus Kuhnhenne of the Institute for Steel Construction at RWTH Aachen University, various sessions got underway. The session “prefabricated building with wood” was led by our managing director Dr.-Ing. Carl Richter. Within this session, he had the pleasure of welcoming no less than five speakers who provided interesting impulses for prefabricated and sustainable construction using the prefabricated timber construction method.

In the following session, “Steel prefabricated building construction”, which was moderated by Dr. Gregor Nüsse of the Forschungsvereinigung Stahlanwendung e.V., which was moderated by Dr. Gregor Nüsse of the Forschungsvereinigung Stahlanwendung e.V., Dr.-Ing. Carl Richter gave his presentation on the current state of standardisation of prefabricated building construction.
