The research association Straßenwesen, Erd – und Tunnelbau Aachen e. V. (SETAC) , founded in 1996 by the Institute for Highway Engineering invites all interested parties to the Aachener Straßen- und Verkehrstagen in the SuperC of the RWTH Aachen University on 21 and 22 November 2019.
The lectures at this year’s ASVT will once again cover the entire field of road engineering with 20 speakers in various thematic blocks.
Main topics of the event on Thursday 21 November will be:
- visionary construction processes,
- new building methods – from the innovation to practice as well as
- building under traffic (operation).
A panel discussion with representatives of both industry and administration on the topic “Building and redeveloping under traffic – a process of the future?” will conclude the Thursday.
On Friday 22 November, the following topics will be focussed on:
- road tunnels,
- adaptive traffic control systems,
- traffic management at roadworks
- Innovative digital traffics concepts based on the question “Mobility of the future – wish or reality? What approaches are science and industry already employing today?”.
