Consortium Meeting „Sustainability assessment of transport infrastructure out of town“

On 16 August 2022, the next digital consortium meeting of the project “Sustainability assessment of transport infrastructure out of town” took place. Together with our consortium partners Echterhoff, Eurovia, Hochtief and nesseler, the project was able to reach another milestone.

At this constructive meeting, the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB), Autobahn GmbH and ISAC GmbH joined in. Furthermore, the meeting was accompanied from the scientific side by the Institute of Sustainability in Civil Engineering and the Institute of Highway Engineering.

After a welcome by the Managing Director Dr Carl Richter, the current status of the project was presented by Ms del Rosario (Institute for Sustainability in Civil Engineering).

The initial focus of the meeting was to discuss the use of a rating system versus a certification system. Another large component of the meeting was the discussion of sustainability rating in the Netherlands.

Finally, the next steps were discussed.
