Consortium Meeting “Standardization prefabricated building units type 2 and 3”

After the 7th member meeting, another meeting on the topic of standardization prefabricated building units type 2 and 3 took place on 23.06.  Together with our consortium partners Algeco, Alho, Bolle, Cadolto, Kleusberg, ProContain and Zeppelin Rental the further course of the collaborative fire tests as well as the further procedure could be discussed.

Managing Director Dr.-Ing. Carl Richter first reported that the 1st test is still in preparation and will be carried out in the fall. Due to personnel capacity shortages on the part of MPA NRW, however, the overall schedule had to be corrected backwards.

In addition to the fire tests, the further focus lies on the transfer of the already developed design features for the prefabricated building unit type 2 and 3 into a guideline. In this context, we are also working on a common understanding of the regulations for construction products and types of construction and their applicability in room cell construction.

We thank all participants for the constructive cooperation. The next meeting will probably take place in digital form on September 8.
