Yesterday, a hybrid meeting took place in Aachen as part of the consortium project. We were pleased to welcome representatives from ALHO, CMS, Kleusberg, ALGECO, BOLLE, ELA Container, KB Container, PROCONTAIN, SÄBU, Zeppelin, AMTRA, BFT, Cadolto as well as Liebherr and the Ministry for regional identity, local government, building and digitalization of the land of North Rhine-Westphalia. From the scientific side, the meeting was represented by the Institute of Steel Construction at RWTH University.
After the welcome by Dr. Carl Richter, an inspiring impulse lecture by the Liebherr company took place, which was complemented by a digital questionnaire to record typical industry characteristics.
One focus of the meeting was the presentation and discussion of the current status of the research project “Fire tests prefabricated buildings”. In this context, criteria for the second upcoming fire test were also decided.
The other focus was on the current status of the draft directive. Amendments and additions could be jointly decided at this point.
We thank you for the very constructive meeting. The next meeting will take place in May as part of the members’ meeting. We are already looking forward to welcoming you again.
