Consortium meeting prefabricated buildings type 2 and type 3

Yesterday, another consortium meeting on type 2 and type 3 prefabricated buildings took place in digital form. Dr Carl Richter (Managing Director of the CBI) had the pleasure of welcoming our members Algeco, ALHO, Amtra, BFT, Bolle, Cadolto, CMS, ELA Container, KB Container, Kleusberg, Procontain, Säbu and Zeppelin Rental as well as the Institute of Steel Construction of RWTH Aachen University.

The content of this day was about the current status of the possible directive on prefabricated buildings. The exchange at this meeting was also very constructive and brings the project a good deal further.

Furthermore, the meeting was used to exchange information about the series of large-scale fire tests on room cells. In particular, the evaluation of the results from the first test date was the focus. But the second upcoming date of this series of tests was also a topic of discussion.

We thank you for the very constructive meeting. The next meeting will take place in March. We are already looking forward to welcoming you again in Aachen.
