Conducting large-scale fire tests of prefabricated buildings under ETK conditions to prove room closure

New project started

A new consortium and research project of the CBI has started. In the project „Conducting large-scale fire tests of prefabricated buildings under ETK conditions to prove room closure“ the CBI will conduct the investigations together with the consortium partners.

The project is gratefully funded by the Ministry for regional identity, local government, building and digitalization of the land of North Rhine-Westphalia. The consortium partners, who are also providing part of the financing for this specific project, include ALHO, CMS, Kleusberg, ALGECO, Bolle, ELA Container, SÄBU, Zeppelin Rental, AMTRA and Cadolto.

The investigations are being carried out by the Materialprüfungsamt Nordrhein-Westfalen and supported by BFT Cognos and the Institute of Steel Construction at RWTH Aachen University.

We are happy about the good cooperation and are already very much looking forward to the upcoming dates in October.
